The Technological Universities Act 2018 provided for the establishment of technological universities, as well as setting out their functions and governance structure. Following the Act, TUs were required to undergo a full review post-formation within the CINNTE Review Cycle Schedule 2017-2024, independent of the review status of the antecedent institutions. SETU has been preparing for the Self Evaluation Report for this review since January 2023, with a draft report now available. We are now entering a Consultation and Approval Phase, with the document available to staff here:
