Fashion Retailing is a global, growth industry that provides challenging and rewarding career opportunities. Retail management is the achievement of company goals through effective and efficient planning, leadership, organisation and control of internal resources.
This program is responding to a need for degree qualification in Fashion Buying within the context of Retail management. This new Degree will take its first students in September 2023. The programme development team included Primark fashion buying team and Fashion Design lead JW Anderson London.
The team in conjunction with SETU guided the content and modules to ensure graduates are ready for employment on graduation. The Degree programme will blend business IT and Management modules with Fashion Buying, Fashion Retail Trend analyses and Media Modules.

- Educational trip to Paris /London in third year (Semester 5)
- The work placement option in semester 5 allows you to gain real experience working in a retail environment.
- The study abroad option in semester 5 gives students an opportunity to spend the semester studying in one of our partner colleges in Europe, North America or Canada.
Throughout the Degree a series of Fashion seminars and lectures will be delivered by key Fashion and Retail industry leaders to keep student up to date on trends and Industry Developments.

Students who complete this level 7 degree programme can choose either to graduate after three years or progress on to a related level 8 degree.
