Overview
Health and safety officers counsel employees to ensure and promote health and safety in the workplace and coordinate accident prevention and health and safety measures within an establishment or organisation.
This module covers the key requirements of the health, safety and environment legislation including the role and contents of the safety statement, accident prevention, emergency planning, environmental awareness and waste management.
This programme will be offered in blended learning format consisting of a combination of online and in-class lectures.
Entry Requirements
All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reserves the right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme
