Overview
This level 9, 30-credit course enables participants to practically apply workforce management techniques; from strategic workforce planning to leadership effectiveness and workforce planning process. Participants will also develop critical awareness of labour market forces, emerging techniques, integrated approaches and how to effectively implement possible workforce management solutions for their organisation with all of this in mind.
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a systematic knowledge and understanding of the external and internal factors/forces affecting workforce planning in organisations.
- Develop a critical awareness of labour market forces, trends, legislative frameworks and people analytics. Present and defend possible solutions to identifiable gaps in demand and supply of labour.
- Display an in-depth knowledge of data, models and systems that support succession and WFP challenges. Providing possible solutions and contributions to better attraction, retention and turnover challenges across an organisation.
- Develop skills for novel and emerging techniques to be more proactive in managing one's workforce, by gathering, interpreting and analysing appropriate data relevant to the challenges of succession planning.
