What do the following abbreviations mean on my exam results?
PS | Pass |
EX | Where a candidate has gained an overall result of EX (Exemptions Granted), the student has passed some, but not all subjects and needs to repeat any subjects with a grade less than 40% |
AB | Absent from examination |
FL | Fail - no Exemptions gained at current sitting |
DE | Deferral of Result(s) |
IN | This stands for Stage Incomplete. You have not yet completed the full year of study. This is a default result for all Semester 1 results for full-time programmes and for all Term 1 results for part-time programmes as you have yet to complete the entire year/stage. Students with failed modules included in their grades will need to repeat and pass these modules in order to complete the overall stage. |
