Taught postgraduate - new entrants
To register as a taught postgraduate student, please follow the steps below:
- You must accept your offer via the PAC website and complete all steps as instructed, including, where requested, payment of a €500 non-refundable deposit.
- On completion of all required steps, including payment of the deposit, where instructed, you will receive information on how to complete your online registration, including your student number and password.
- Once registered, the academic school or department will contact you directly regarding start dates, locations, orientation etc. Please note: you must be temporarily registered/registered to be eligible to attend class.
- You will be advised of arrangements to acquire your new SETU ID card. Note that your SETU card photograph will be used for identification purposes and for academic and administration activities of the University. There is no charge for the first issue of your new SETU card. Replacement cards cost €25.
Fees
- Please pay your semester 1 fees on or before the 31 October on year of entry via the taught postgraduate online payment facility.
- Please pay your semester 2 fees on or before the 31 January via the taught postgraduate online payment facility.
- Failure to pay instalment 2 on or before 31 January may result in access to University facilities being withdrawn until payment has been received and processed by the University.
Taught postgraduate - continuing part-time students on full-time programme
You must contact your course leader to discuss the modules you wish to register on for the new semester/academic year. The course leader will then complete the necessary forms and inform taught postgraduate admissions as to your registration requirements. You will then receive notification to complete your online registration and can make payment via the Taught Postgraduate Online Payment facility. You will be registered as a student at the University on payment of fees. Failure to pay instalment two on or before 31 January in semester 2 of the academic year may result in access to University facilities being withdrawn until payment has been received and processed by the University.
Taught Postgraduate - continuing students on full-time programme
Your course leader will liaise with the registration team to set up your student record for the academic year. Once complete, you will receive an email from the registration team advising you to register via the link above.
Registration Post Autumn results for continuing students
For students whose exam/assessment results are released after Thursday, 19 September (the main results release date), please allow up to five working days for your registration details to be set up. You may then log into the student registration portal to register online.
Taught postgraduate online payment facility
Note that your SETU card photograph will be used for identification purposes and for academic and administration activities of the University.
