The SETU Carlow Access Programme targets QQI-FE Award Holders and mature applicants who have the ability to benefit from and succeed in third level education but who, for a variety of reasons, encounter barriers which impacted on their education.
Carlow Access Programme/Sanctuary Scholarship Programme available for QQI-FE Award Holders, Mature Students and Sanctuary Scholarship Applicants.
The SETU Carlow Access Programme offers an annual undergraduate scholarship to applicants from the following groups:
- Mature Applicants
- QQI-FE Applicants
- Applicants with a disability
- Lone or teen parents
- Care Leavers
- Carers
- Homeless
- Members of Ethnic Minority Groups
- Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Closing Date for receipt of completed applications (either by post or scanned copies by email to [email protected]) is the 1st March 2024, with supporting documents by 1st April 2024.
