The SETU Sexual Violence & Harassment Support Unit invites all students and staff to the launch of the 'Ask for Angela' Campaign for Waterford City, on Wednesday 25 September 10.30am, outside the auditorium on the Cork Road Campus.
The 'Ask for Angela' campaign is a crucial initiative for enhancing safety and support in our public spaces especially for the students here participating in programmes in SETU and socialising at night in the city.
Implementing this campaign in our community requires collaboration and awareness. It is great to see so many agencies involved in this campaign; SETU Sexual Violence & Harassment Support Unit, SETU Students' Union, The Vintners Association, Rapid Cabs, Waterford Local Community Safety Partnership, Waterford Purple Flag Committee and Community Policing. It also involves us, as a community, spreading the word and reinforcing the message that we are all responsible for each other’s safety.
