Assistive Technology (AT) plays a vital role in creating inclusive learning environments. Join Lorraine Gallagher from AHEAD as she explores the types of assistive technologies and the ways in which diverse technologies can help people with disabilities. Learn how AT fits into the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to make learning environments inclusive for everyone.

Two 15-minute presentations will follow:

3:30pm - 3:45pm: Sue Meehan (SETU) discusses how AI advancements are reshaping Assistive Technology, making it more accessible and customisable for a wider audience.

3:45pm - 4:00pm: Angie Costelloe (SETU) shares tools like Grammarly Premium for writing assistance and Glean, a powerful note-taking solution.

This interactive event will provide practical insights and strategies for using AT to support diverse learners. Whether you’re an educator, student, or simply interested in learning more, this event is for you.

This event is free but places are limited and booking is required to attend.
