SETU's Department of Humanities and SATLE are delighted to co-host Jennie C. Stephens, Professor of Climate Justice at Maynooth University for an engaging discussion on her new book. 

Join us to explore how higher education can advance transformative climate justice, create knowledge for a post-growth future, and inspire local empowerment and global solidarity. 

Organisers:  Dr Niamh McCrea and Dr Nataliya Romanyatova, SETU. 

Taking place on 12 February from 12pm to 1pm at the Chamber Room, Haughton Building, at SETU's Kilkenny Road campus in Carlow. Teas and coffees will be served from 11:30am.

Speaker information: Jennie C. Stephens is Professor of Climate Justice at Maynooth University. She was a Radcliffe-Salata Climate Justice Fellow at Harvard University and the Dean’s Professor of Sustainability Science and Policy at Northeastern University. She is the author of 'Diversifying Power: Why We Need Antiracist, Feminist Leadership on Climate and Energy.'
