O'Connell Bianconi Health Sciences Building, Cork Road Campus
As we approach the end of the academic year, we are celebrating the achievements of our first year students on the Certificate in Personal Development Programme. This event is a significant moment for SETU. It not only celebrates the progress and success of our students with intellectual disabilities, but also highlights the university’s ongoing commitment to inclusion, diversity, and the creation of meaningful educational pathways for all learners.
It will be an important occasion that recognises the dedication of the students, the support of their families and friends, and the collaborative effort of staff and tutors across departments.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 14 May, from 11am until 1pm. It will be located in Room G18, O'Connell Bianconi Health Sciences Building on the Cork Road Campus.
Light refreshments will be served at the event.
Join us in honouring the first year journey of students with Intellectual Disabilities in Higher Education. This morning session will explore the experiences of students on the Certificate in Personal Development Programme. Throughout the session, guests will hear personal reflections from the students about their experiences in education, highlighting moments of growth, overcoming difficulties, and building connections with peers and SETU staff.
Please RSVP by Wednesday, 30 April to [email protected] and [email protected].
