EPA Research Call - Staff Webinar and Impact Workshop

On Monday 28 April at 10.30am - Dr Eadaoin Butler, SETU National Research Programme Manager will host a webinar on this year’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Research Call 2025.
A previous successful applicant, Dr Emily Shakespeare will also give a brief talk about her experience of applying to the call and what she felt made the application successful.
Dr Shakespeare is pictured above (second from right) with Dr Geraldine Canny, SETU Head of Research, Dr Claire Keary, Dr Joe Murphy and Dr Robin Stubbs who were successful in the 2024 EPA Research Call, receiving over €1 million in total.
In addition, as this year's call is heavily impact/policy driven, Dr Saoirse Cummins will deliver a dedicated impact workshop on Wednesday 30 April at 3.00pm in room A02 on the Cork Road, Waterford campus and Wednesday 7 May at 1.00pm in Haughton Boardroom on the Carlow campus.
This year's webinar and impact workshop are a valuable resource to anyone considering making an application under this call.
Applicants may apply under 29 topics addressing identified policy and evidence needs with projects ranging in duration from 12 to 48 months.
