Lismore Conversations That Matter - 'When Absence is Presence'

Date : Mon 21 Oct

Time : 20:00 - 21:30

Heritage Centre, Lismore, Co. Waterford, P51 TP26

Our Autumn series of the 'Lismore Conversations That Matter' continues on Monday, October 21st with Ann McCarthy.

Ann's conversation will use poetry as a medium to reflect on the reality of 'presence as absence'.

This expression of reality - which may sound attractive or strange to us - is something we are all aware of in our daily lives. Being able to access this deeper sense of what is real opens us up to something which is bigger and wider than any definition or category is able to give us.

So, join us in Lismore on Monday, October 21st where Ann - in the company of some American poets - will invite us into a space of knowing and unknowing, where presence is indeed found.

This series of conversations is an extension of the Dept. of Arts' 'Theology in The Public Square' series.

The event is free to attend. No booking required.
