About

The Pharmacy Education and Networking event will outline SETU's Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) development programme. The programme builds on the University's strong track record of education and research in science and healthcare, engagement with regional stakeholders, and programme development that meets skills needs.

The event will feature a panel discussion with the theme of 'Modern Pharmacy Education: Aligning with Sectoral Needs'. The theme explores workforce needs and collaborative opportunities in pharmacy education to ensure future pharmacists can act as leaders in the changing pharmacy and healthcare landscape.

This event will also mark the success of SETU in the HEA Capacity Building programme and the announcement of government endorsement of the Master of Pharmacy programme development. It will allow pharmacists from community, hospital, industry, and emerging sectors to meet and connect with members of SETU's education and research team. We anticipate this will become a yearly event within the region.

Who is this event open to?

This is a stakeholder-focused event that is open to attendance by pharmacists across community, hospital, and industry-based settings.
