SFI ARC Hub Programme Webinar and Call for Translational Projects

The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) will host a webinar on Thursday 20 July 2023 at 11 am describing the SFI ARC Hub Programme: https://www.sfi.ie/funding/funding-calls/sfi-arc-hub-programme/ The webinar will be presented by Sudeepth Nair – Technology Transfer Office Manager.
SETU are part of a consortium with UCC as the lead, Teagasc and others. We have selected one area of the smart specialisation as a requirement of the call, and this is Agritech/food.
If you are interested, all we need at this stage is a list of potential projects (project titles) which we might put into the proposal. The focus is on Translational Projects; novel research projects that can be accelerated towards potential commercial impact.
The Translational Researchers can be located in the host and collaborating Research Bodies and must:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent at the time of application
- Be senior author on at least one international peer reviewed article
- Postdoctoral researchers must have commitment from a suitable mentor (established researcher from their Research Body, or a Co-PI of the SFI ARC Hub)
- Salaries for Postdoctoral Translational Researchers is an eligible cost (in line with their time commitment to the project)
