Try Robotics and Electronics 2025

This event will give CAO applicants an introduction into the world of electronics and robotics for a day. This is your chance to walk a day in the shoes of our students, experience our facilities and meet experts in the field. If you are interested in our BEng (Hons) in Robotics and Automated Systems this event is perfect for you.

Highlights of the Day

• Introduction to electronics: Get hands-on experience on building and programming electronic circuits. Attendees will be using an Arduino Kits and taking the kit home in their goodie bag.
• Introduction to robotics: Get hands-on experience on programming and playing around state-of-the-art robots.
• There will be group work sessions with experienced staff and current students. This will give the candidate a great opportunity to ask loads of questions and chat with current students about their experiences in SETU.

• The cost of the event is €30 and will cover all materials for the day as well as a take-home engineering ‘goodie’ bag. Participants will receive a lunch voucher that can be used in the canteen on campus.
