Enjoy getting lost in a great book, film, or theatre production? Join us at the Kilkenny Road Campus, Carlow on Friday, 2 May 2025 from 9:30am until 3:30pm to get a taster of our BSc (Hons) Set Design & Construction programme.
At Try Set Design and Construction, you will explore the world of scenic design by building your own environment on the stage. In this one day workshop, you will build a scale model of a theatre, design a scenic element, and create an environment around this element. Model building is just one of the many skills that scenic designers use to create environments for the stage and screen.
This is a great opportunity for transition, fifth, sixth year and mature students to see what a day in the life of an SETU student is like, and to see whether a career in set design is for them.
Booking is required to attend. Places are limited.
