Join SETU's Department of Social Care & Early Childhood and Waterford Childcare Committee (CCLPL) for an interactive conference exploring how the outdoors can empower children in their development, health and wellbeing.  This will be an wonderful opportunity to network with other educators.

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr Sharon Skehill, Education Officer, NCCA and Owner of Newtown Kids Club, Willows and Nursery
  • Muireann Ranta, Lecturer at SETU and President of OMEP Ireland
  • Lorraine O’Connor, TUSLA Inspectorate

This will be a wonderful opportunity to network with other educators. practitioners, researchers and students.

Workshops will include speakers from Grounded in Nature Forest School, Newtown Kids Club, Carraig Briste and Killegney Early Years Outdoor Learning and SETU.

There will be exhibition tables from a number of early years organisations present on the day.

This conference is for educators, early childhood care and education students, practitioners and researchers.
