To be eligible for advanced entry at SETU, students must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7.

For students in the Civil Engineering Technology program, meeting the requirements of the professional engineering body in Ireland (Engineers Ireland) allows entry into the 3rd year of SETU’s four-year Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering program.

Additionally, Civil Engineering Technology students must achieve a score of 70% or higher in their 3rd year Maths course. If this requirement is not met, students may be required to sit a Maths exam set by SETU.

Bachelor Degree holders from Ontario can apply to Masters programmes at SETU. These programmes are normally 1 year in duration and are internationally recognised.

Bachelor Degree Holders should have an average GPA of 3.0 for consideration.

New degree and masters programmes become available every year, so if you don’t see your specific programme listed please contact to see if we can recommend an appropriate programme to you.

Graduate Certificate holders must have completed a degree prior to their studies in Ontario.
