Students at SETU are being urged to join in on the conversation about mental health and suicide prevention by taking part in a survey for #Movember.

Ahead of #InternationalMensDay, students are being asked to have their say and send out a clear message that young men care about their mental health and want to be central to conversations about addressing their needs.

Researchers in the Department of Sport and Exercise Science based on our Cork Road campus in Waterford have teamed up with Niall Breslin ‘Bressie’ to shed light on this important issue.

Their goal is to understand and learn more about the challenges facing young men in relation to their mental health, to see how services and supports can be tailored. Bressie joined in on the conversation by recording a video.

If you would like to have your voice heard on this important issue, please join the conversation by donating 10 minutes of your time to complete this survey
