The Department of Nursing and Healthcare at South East Technological University (SETU) is proud of its psychiatric nursing students. One 4th year intern student, Seamus Power, has been recently interviewed by the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). He shares his experience of moving from acting to nursing as a mature student.
Seamus played the character of Dermot Fahy in Fair City for over 20 years. He has since changed careers to become a psychiatric nurse.
