South East Technological University (SETU) will be open during Met Éireann status orange weather warning for Waterford and status yellow weather warnings for Carlow and Wexford.
Met Éireann has issued a status orange snow and rain warning for Waterford, valid on Thursday. 21 November until 12 noon. Low temperatures and ice yellow weather warnings have been issued for Carlow and Wexford for the same period.
In Waterford it is expected that heavy rain will transition to sleet and snow, potentially creating very difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility, travel disruption, difficult conditions underfoot and possible flooding.

Safety
SETU’s campuses in Waterford, Carlow and Wexford will be open during Met Éireann status orange and yellow weather warnings unless otherwise stated at www.setu.ie.
As weather and road conditions will vary between SETU and home locations we advise staff and students to put their own safety first when making the decision to travel.
Please check the National Weather Warning status at www.met.ie or through news bulletins before making any journey. We advise that staff and students only travel if they are confident that it is safe to do so and to heed all travel and advisory warnings.
The University will monitor the situation and endeavour to keep everyone updated via www.setu.ie
