The students were presented with their certificates by SETU President, Prof. Veronica Campbell. Graduate of SETU, Jamie Dalton spoke to the students regarding his experience in the Department and how much it helped him develop the skills needed to transition into his current role as head of high performance at SETU Arena and head of strength and conditioning with Waterford FC.   

The Honours list was established in the Department of Sport & Exercise Science in 2015 to acknowledge and award excellent academic achievement by students in all degree years.  

Students are selected from across the Department’s undergraduate degree courses: Recreation & Sport Management, Sport & Exercise Science, Sports Coaching & Performance, Public Health & Health Promotion, Health & Exercise Science, and Nutrition & Exercise Science.
