Hailing from county Kilkenny, Joshua chose this exciting course of study, available regionally at SETU, as it teaches a wide range of skills covering each stage of media production. Research and producing, script writing, camera work, graphics, audio, and video editing are all taught over the four years providing a solid, practical foundation for future work in the media industry.

Choosing TV and Media Production

I chose to study the BSc (Hons) in TV and Media Production at SETU because I have always admired the creative and technical input applied to film and television. This encouraged me to study all aspects of the media industry and how it influences our daily lives.

Inspiring creativity

My favourite aspects of this course include documentary filmmaking, sound production, and media ethics. These modules have greatly expanded my interest in working in such a creative industry. I especially love the practical side of my course because we get hands-on experience in bringing projects to life.
