Postgraduate research (PGR) students at SETU are invited to participate in the annual Student Survey, which launches on Tuesday, 04 February, across participating Irish higher education institutions. The survey will be available to PGR students at SETU from Tuesday, 18 February to Tuesday, 11 March.
StudentSurvey.ie is managed as a collaborative partnership by the Higher Education Authority (HEA), Irish Universities Association (IUA), Technological Higher Education Association (THEA), and the Union of Students in Ireland (USI).
Why take part?
The survey offers students a chance to share their experiences and contribute to shaping the future of postgraduate education in Ireland. Covering key aspects of the PGR journey, such as infrastructure, facilities, supervision, development opportunities, progress, and assessment. By taking part, students provide invaluable feedback that can help improve research environments and student supports.
"Postgraduate research plays a crucial role in driving innovation and academic excellence at SETU," said Brian Jackson, Head of Postgraduate Studies at SETU. "Engaging in research not only advances knowledge but also equips students with critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills that are highly valued in both academic and industry settings."
Prizes to win
Students will receive and email invitation to complete the survey, with a range of prizes and merchandise available to those who take part. A new newsletter will launch offering insights and updates surrounding the survey, and results of the survey will be shared later in the year.
