A Structured PhD builds upon the traditional PhD programme, adding taught modules to the research programme of a learner to better support their research and career. Learners, in consultation with their supervisory team, will choose from an offering of Universal Pathway Modules, which are administered through the Graduate Studies Office,  and Project Pathway Modules, which are offered through the faculties in which the learner is registered in. These modules help to tailor their learning plan to suit the individual’s learning needs. Learners are required to attain 30 credits which can be mixed between Universal and Project Specific modules. 

All students are required to take Research Integrity and Ethics.
