The Research Sabbatical offers academics dedicated time to engage with regional industries and develop impactful research projects aligned with the European Regional Development Funding (ERDF) policy and the SETU Strategic Plan.

There will be 18 Sabbaticals over 2 tranches. The second tranche will commence in September 2025 to August 2026. 

The application must be signed off by the Head of Faculty and the Technology Transfer Office. 

All applications must be sent to 2 emails [email protected] and in copy to [email protected] by 5pm on 31 January, 2025

The email subject line should include the applicant’s name, followed by the scheme name “TU RISE Research Sabbatical”.
