Research Interests
As ‘Management’ is an interdisciplinary field that draws on many social sciences I believe that it is important to have a broad appreciation of its many dimensions. As a result, I have an eclectic interest in research topics and have published articles in the following areas: Organisational Behaviour, Corporate Governance and Pedagogy. I am currently working on a conceptual paper on Business Strategy – critiquing the notion of the ‘generic strategy’ mind-set. I also believe that both quantitative and qualitative research approaches are equally important in the study of management-related themes and have examined various research issues from both critical realist and constructivist positions.
