Biography
Aidan is a Lecturer in Management at the WIT School of Business, and Joint Programme Director on the following portfolio of programmes:
- Master of Business in Lean Practice
- Higher Diploma in Business in Operational Excellence
- Diploma in Lean Fundamentals
Aidan is also co-founder and co-director of the Lean Enterprise Excellence Group: www.wit.ie/Lean
Aidan joined the WIT School of Business in 1997 and has lectured a variety of modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of Management, Strategy, Organisation Behaviour, Accounting, Quality, Operations, and Lean Practice. Aidan also provides Research Supervision at Masters level.
Aidan presently delivers modules on the Master of Business Studies (MBS); the Master of Business in Lean Practice; the Higher Diploma in Business in Operational Excellence; and the Bachelor of Business.
Aidan has experience in advisory, finance, management and consultancy roles in the SME and Voluntary sectors. His work has been published in the European Journal of Industrial Training. Aidan is an award winning academic having received the Sir Ian Morrow award for achieving the highest result worldwide in the Strategic Management and Marketing Paper in the final stage examinations of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Aidan also received the Institute Prize for achieving the third highest overall mark worldwide, and the Brendan Fitzgerald award for achieving the highest mark in Ireland, at the same examinations.
