Biography

Finished PhD in 2014 on Society, Power and Climate Change, which used Bourdieu to research public receptivity to climate change in Ireland. I have been a researcher on the Principle Investigator Impact project with the CÚRAM centre. I have also researched leisure travel for the DEMAND centre while at the University of Birmingham; energy consumers for the SHAPE-Energy project at Anglia Ruskin University; and Responsible Research and Innovation while with RRING project (also at ARU). Some of my publications have focused on Bourdieu, climate change, and flying. My particular interests include environmental sociology, practice theory, participatory democracy, and social change.
