Biography

James is a Lecturer in Management at Waterford Institute of Technology, lecturing on a number of undergraduate and programmes within the School of Business.  James's main teaching areas include International Business, International Management and Strategic Management.  James has also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects on taught business programmes.

James is the Programme Leader for the Programme Leader, BA (Honours) in International Business. 

James's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business (Hons) Degree from WIT and a Master's in Business Studies Degree from the Graduate School of Business UCD.

James is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

James has lectured on both undergraduate and postgraduate modules over the past 16 years.  He lectures in the following areas:

• International Management

• Strategic Management

• Introduction to Management

• Organisational Behaviour

• International Business

James has also supervised a wide range of post-graduate dissertations, mainly on the Masters in Business Studies Programme.

Before joining the School of Business, WIT, James was a Production Accountant with Diageo, in its Kilkenny Brewery, Ireland.  Prior to that, he was Graduate Trainee with Diageo, and was also based in its Kilkenny Brewery, Ireland.
