Biography
I am a lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Economics in the School of Business, lecturing on a number of undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes. My main teaching areas include Business Simulation, Lean Operations, Continuous Improvement Concepts and Management Accounting. I have also supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects on taught business programmes.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Finance (Hons) Degree from WIT and an MBS in the Management of Change from WIT.
I am also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
I have lectured on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School of Business in the following subject areas:
Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Lean Operations, Business Finance, Business & Corporate Strategy, Enterprise Software Skills, MIS & eBusiness, Internal Control, Auditing Theory, Audit Practice, Continuous Improvement Concepts, Strategic Management Accounting & Business Simulation.
I have supervised both undergraduate & postgraduate dissertations.
I was the Course Leader on the Bachelor of Business Studies Degree (Hons) (ACCS) from 2007 to 2010.

Before joining the School of Business, WIT in 2005, I was Group Financial Controller of a privately owned group of Irish & UK companies in the engineering industry.
Previous roles included - Financial Controller of the Irish & Dutch subsidiaries of a U.S. Multinational organisation in a high volume manufacturing industry & Financial Controller of an Irish manufacturer of luxury goods. I have over 10 years experience in Senior Finance roles.
