Biography

Kevin joined the SETU team in 2022 as an Assistant Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology delivering programs at both Masters and Undergraduate level. 

He completed Master’s degrees in Sport and Exercise Psychology (University of Ulster) and Strategic Management (Technical University Dublin) and is currently studying for a Masters in Work and Organisational Psychology (Dublin City University) as apart of a lifelong desire to learn and grow. He is an Accredited Sport Psychologist with the Sport Ireland Institute.

Kevin worked as Sport Psychology Lead for the Irish Boxing team at the Tokyo Olympic games where they qualified seven boxers for the games and brought home two Olympic medals. 

With a huge passion for supporting the wellbeing of the person outside of their performances, he has coached and trained countless individuals in his own practice and through his work with Peptalk Wellbeing, Aware, the Soar Foundation, and his charity initiative ‘Warriors of the Light’

A native of Dublin, Kevin has represented his county in Gaelic Football and been an integral part of their successful Senior Team in the last 15 years

An experienced Sport Psychology Consultant and Facilitator with more than 10 years experience working with athletes, leaders and high performers around the country. Kevin has experience with athletes across the world of sport having worked with countless World and European Champion athletes in Irish Boxing, All-Ireland winning athletes and coaches in GAA, Basketball, and world class athletes and performers in Rugby, Golf, and MMA among others.

Kevin has been delivering Life Skills and Emotional Resilience programs since 2015 through his own practise and also on behalf of Aware and the Soar Foundation having been involved in both writing and delivering various programs for teenagers and adults. Key programs have been around sport psychology, resilience (School of Hard Knocks), leadership (the Future Leaders program) and building healthy masculinity advocates in our young men.
