Biography

Dr. Patricia Maher joined the School of Business at Waterford Institute of Technology in 2003. Patricia has lectured at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her main subject areas include supply chain management, data analysis, quality management and continuous improvement, and SAP/Enterprise systems skills. Patricia's main research interests include product affordance design, product development management, product quality conformance,receptiveness and responsiveness. In 2020, Patricia was awarded her PhD from Trinity College Dublin. Patricia's PhD examined affordance development improvement in existing product designs.    During her academic career, Patricia has presented at a number of international conferences.   

Patricia’s other academic qualification include a Master of Business Studies (By Research) in Supply Chain Management (2005) and a Bachelor of Business Studies in Industrial Purchasing Management (2001).
