Microcredentials are short courses that can range from 1 credit up to 30 credits. The government’s Human Capital Initiative (HCI) programme has subsidised the micro-credentials listed below for 2024/25 which have all been developed through one of SETU HCI Pillar 3 Projects.
The Micro-Credential Course Learner Subsidy, under the HCI Pillar 3, offers a subsidy rate of 80 per cent for courses. The fee-level shown below is the susbsidised rate in each case. In order to be eligible for the subsidised rate all applicants are required to meet the same eligibility as for Springboard+ / HCI Pillar 1 courses - please see springboardcourses.ie/eligibility or click into the application process below - on the for more information on the eligibility criteria.
